The Church in Aurora (TCIA) is a historical, non-denominational church that is theologically open and practically welcoming to all people. With over 40 Christian denominations represented at TCIA, we have no formal doctrine except that “members of this congregation shall follow the word of God according to the dictates of their own conscience.” (TCIA Code of Regulations). Therefore, we respect all faith traditions. We strive for unity in mission, while practicing grace in our differences.
Our purpose is to “invite all people to experience the love of God through engaging worship and education, participation in impactful outreach, and the growth of relationships inside and outside the walls of our church.”
The Church in Aurora is located in the small, but growing suburb of Aurora, Ohio. The community offers the quaintness of a small town with all the amenities of a suburb, including being just 40 minutes away from both downtown Cleveland and downtown Akron. With award-winning schools, Aurora is experiencing young growth, with many new younger families relocating into our community.
