Job Description:

A Residential Group Home for abused and neglected teens ages 11 - 19 is seeking Teaching Parents-full time. Our program is a ministry of Christian based rearing in homes run as normal to family daily life for these children to experience and learn from. Each group cottage attends local church services as part of our weekly program. Our horses that roam the ranch are used in Eagala Equine Therapy as well with our program. The facility is located on our beautiful ranch in Southern West Virginia, where four true seasons are experienced. We are in Fayetteville, WV, home to the New River Gorge where exciting wildlife adventures are the specialty. Rafting, rock climbing, fishing, and National Park trails are waiting for you on your days off work. Unique local cuisine and artisans are thriving invitations to experience here as well.

This is a 3-day live-in position that includes a benefit package. Mentoring and Christian Ministry is blended into our program. House Parents will need to be able to cook, shop for groceries on a budget, comply with program rules and regulations, teach light housework chores to residents, have a valid WV drivers license to transport the residents and other on the job training duties that will be covered upon hiring the chosen candidates. Hourly Wage and benefits package will be determined by qualifications.

Only Serious Candidates will be considered! A high school diploma or equivalent is required for employment, as well as being cleared by a state and federal background investigation that the employer will pay for. Prior experience in mentoring teen groups, education, ministries, and/or social services work or education is a plus!
