Position Overview
The Franchise Support Specialist works under the supervision of the VP of Franchise Development and is central to the success of the Franchise Development & Operations Department. This position is fast-paced and multi-faceted. The Franchise Support Specialist will assist with all aspects of unit development to produce successful, compliant and profitable locations. Additional projects and tasks can be assigned by the VP of Franchise Development.

Essential Job Functions
Must be organized and detail oriented to manage all aspects of the support specialist role
Provide centralized support and serve as a liaison for all departments
Participate in internal meetings to remain current on the goals & objectives of Transblue
Perform research and data analysis and report findings to department managers
Communicate effectively with Franchisees on outstanding issues or requests
Respond to all submitted tickets routed to franchise development and obtain answers and solutions for franchise locations; maintain a ticket log for training purposes
Complete all staff request submitted by franchise locations, submissions for compliance with position requirements and documentation
Assist with system standards training as well as serve as a backup for certain sessions
Assist with monthly reports, data compilation, and analysis
As part of a high performing team, formulate & execute project action plans & provide internal updates on progress
Assist to guide new Franchisees through the opening process
Franchise development is responsible for providing support to the franchisees through shared services.
Collaboration and project management of the shared services is critical in this position. Must be able to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently.
Non-essential Job Functions
Participate in internal meetings to remain current in the goals and objectives of Transblue
Data entry of location-specific information into intranet for all new locations including, but not limited to, location staff, privileges, credentials and contact information
Oversee projects as designated by the VP of Franchise Development
Participate in training programs as needed by the department
Participate in the development and delivery of system standards training, regional trainings, national conventions, E-learning, and on-site training
Actively participate in Franchise Development meeting
Support the integrity and protection of the brand and uphold all brand standards
Provide ongoing support to locations to promote profitability and success
Must be willing to travel locally and nationally upon request
Must have the ability to prioritize and organize workload
Must be able to multitask, apply critical thinking skills and provide the highest level of professional service & support both internally and externally.
Requirements
Minimum of 1-year experience in franchise support, consulting, management or related field; ability to travel up to 25% of the time
Strong interpersonal, listening and communication skills; a demonstrated and successful ability for leading, motivating and creating mutually beneficial relationships and influence positive change
Confident, articulate and professional speaking abilities
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Must have a current driver’s license and clean driving record
Must provide a minimum of 3 professional references reflecting strong moral character
Other Skills/Abilities
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including advanced knowledge of Excel
Must demonstrate the ability to combine patience, determination and persistence to troubleshoot issues and problem solve while working independently or as part of a team
Must be able to multi-task, apply critical thinking skills and provide the highest level of service both internally and externally
Must be a confident and positive team-oriented person motivated to aid in overall organizational growth as well as enjoy working independently at times
Ability to engage in a wide variety of business discussions and quickly learn new and/or complex concepts
