Responsible for leveraging all online platforms to organize, lead, and connect people across the globe to engage their Christian faith and into smaller vibrant groups (online & offline) and to drive those groups to action that will glorify God and make a
difference locally and globally.
Duties:
- Oversee the weekend services for online church, as well as all-church experiences online
- Work alongside worship, production, and stage teams to prepare weekend services
- Ensure what is being planned for the physical campus, translates well for online
- The online campus is not an add-on to in-person church services and campus, but Lifehouse is an online church with physical locations and gatherings.
- The online campus pastor is responsible to lead the first impressions of Lifehouse online and to recognize they are the first pastor many guests will meet and connect at all or before they attend an in-person campus.
- Drive Online Discipleship
- Work alongside of the Life Groups Pastor to ensure people are getting plugged in
- Work alongside Discipleship Pastor to ensure people can engage in Life Track, Next Steps, Learning Management System, leadership development, etc,
- Build a team of volunteers and leaders to serve on the weekends and during the week,
- Discover, meet, and engage the people who are watching online and develop a commitment to increase engagement for those joining online,
- Lead multiplication of Lifehouse online to empower leaders to start Watch Parties, host sites, extension sites, and campuses.
- Online campus pastor will work alongside of the Discipleship Executive and Lead Pastor in identifying, recruiting, and developing leaders who will launch and lead these experiences.
- Lead the innovation of all online experiences and expanding our online reach.
QUALIFICATIONS AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Exhibits a personal and growing relationship with God, a teachable spirit, and a healthy family life,
- Bachelors Degree in Biblical Studies or related field – preferable
- At least 5 years ministry and management experience, overseeing and leading teams of volunteers and leaders
- One who is capable of managing and executing the long-term vision of Lifehouse Church in a strategic manner,
- A self-motivated leader, capable of managing self and others, and effective in developing and implementing church systems
