Job Description:

Celebration Church is a non-denominational church located in Livermore, CA.  We are seeking to fill the position of Worship Leader. This is a paid part-time position.

 

Celebration Church is a growing church body of approximately 250 family units with a vision to reach our local community and beyond with the love of Jesus in meaningful relationship. The church is active in community and mission outreach currently with one 9:45 am Sunday morning service. We generally schedule 20-25 minutes for worship during the weekend service. We also have a monthly prayer gathering which includes about 20 minutes of worship service.  Regular rehearsals, team growth and general administration in leading the ministry would also be in the scope of this position.

 

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and to effectively minister to others
  • Minister the gift of singing and/or musicianship with excellence and passion
  • Lead a team of musicians and singers in worship ministry, the development of the team and a commitment to pursue excellence
  • Organize rehearsals and pre-service warmups
  • Work closely with the Lead Pastor to develop a unified ministry to the congregation and community
