We are a thriving, passionate, fired-up 10-year young church plant, believing that God has called us to be a part of revival in our city. You will find no lack of passion for worship in this church body. Worship is central to who we are. We have a unified ministry team and a devoted body of followers of Jesus who truly believe that the best is yet to come, on earth, as it is in heaven, in our church and city.
And we are not of those who shrink back. We stayed open during almost all of the pandemic lockdown last year, in defiance of the governor's orders, believing that Church is essential (especially if the state is going to allow casinos and strip clubs to be open, calling them “essential”). We can honestly say that our church has emerged from the pandemic better than ever, thriving in new ways.
Our faith is big that God is on the move in our church and city. We had a wonderful worship leader who unfortunately needed to move away to take care of family, so we are trusting that God will line us up with someone who is called to be part of our church family and can join in with their gifts and passions to continue the great work that God is doing here. The best is yet to come. Are you called to be part of this team?

Please note a few things:
We are passionate about authentic relationship with Jesus, by the Holy Spirit, through whom God is amazingly present, personal and powerful. If you are not comfortable with encounters with God through the Holy Spirit (and the many different gifts He manifests), this isn’t the church for you. We love the Holy Spirit and all that He loves to do to show the abundant goodness of our perfect Heavenly Father, such as physical healing, deliverance, prophetic words, words of knowledge, inner healing, visions, dreams and His manifest presence that brings us into encounter with the living and risen Lord Jesus.
We also believe the Bible teaches (and have experienced over and over) that the Holy Spirit empowers both men and women equally to serve and lead in the church. Half of our ministry (elder) board is women, and women are equal leaders in the church. If that is not your cup of tea, please don’t apply.
This position can be full-time or part-time, depending on experience and availability.
We are not affiliated with Elevation Church North Carolina. We had chosen our church plant name before we knew they existed. We do love their worship music and play a number of their songs but we have no official affiliation with that church.

Keep Discovering
Whether you have been walking with Jesus 5 minutes or 50 years, there is always more of God! If you’ve stopped learning, you’ve stopped growing and you’ve put God in a box. But if we keep a childlike, humble, hunger for more of God, then we can rest in His promise to continue to transform us “from one degree of glory to another” to be and do like Jesus.
Reproduce Disciples
As life-changing and awesome as it is to learn from Jesus and be in relationship with him, his vision for you isn’t complete if it stops with you. Jesus wants to grow every follower to the coming-of-age-moment where he can say to you “Go now and make more disciples, teaching them everything like I have taught you.” (Matthew 28:19-20 paraphrase)
Everyone is a Minister
There are no superstars in God’s church, except God! God has this radical idea that every one of His beloved kids is called to what the bible calls “ministry.” So, along the road of following Him, He wants each of us to discover and develop our gifts and passions, along with how to walk in the power of the Spirit, so that we can each be empowered to truly reflect and represent Jesus in our homes, church, community and the world and see His Kingdom advanced!
Hang Out!
We believe there is incredible importance to investing in relationship with one another. Following Jesus is not meant to be a solo mission and we all know deep down we are made for relationship with God and some good friends. But deep relationships stem from first simply being intentional to hang out together. As we hang out and do life together we slowly grow in depth, connection and trust, which God uses to make us powerful tools to help one another be inspired, challenged, accepted, empowered and all sorts of other good things that make us abundantly alive, as individuals and as a church family.
