Job Description

The following qualifications and personal qualities are sought for anyone considering a teaching post at the K-12 school in Vietnam. 

Teacher Qualifications (1-year or 2-year term):

1. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from a college or university.
2. Require a 120-hour teaching certificate (TEFL/TESOL).
3. Pass a criminal background check.
4. English as a first language.

Personal Qualities Required (Teacher and Teacher Assistant):

1. Demonstrate patience, humility, integrity, and kindness while performing day to day duties.
2. Possess teaching ability to enable hands-on approach to learning while providing an environment allowing students to experience character education and servant leadership.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4. Wise time management and organization skills.
5. Ability to focus on the mission of the school in the midst of task demands and pressures.
6. Positive and professional approach to school life.
7. Motivated toward excellence in all things; committed to reaching the school’s goals.
