Science/STEM High School and Middle School Teacher

Full-time teaching position for STEM teaching math and science on a rotating schedule (1 math, 2 science, and middle school technology). Opportunities to develop elective classes in the science and arts fields, as well.

Qualifications:

• Working skills with technology for use in communication and as a learning tool.
• Experience in methods to reach all types of learners.
• Mastery of basic skills for teaching high school students.
• Familiarity with (or willingness to learn about) Competency-Based Education practices.
• Proven leadership experience.

Requirements:

• Work well with other professionals and staff members.
• Current in high school level best-practices pedagogy and Project Based Learning.
• Comfortable with instructional model allowing time for hands-on expeditionary learning.
• Willingness and ability to apply a broad range of teaching practices.
• Teach through the lens of a Biblical worldview.
