Affiliation: Part of the "Brook" family/network of churches in the greater Milwaukee, WI area, which began with Elmbrook Church in Brookfield. Our church is located 4 hours north of Milwaukee, in the small, beautiful, Northwoods community of Minocqua/Woodruff.
Salary: Varies, depending upon education and experience.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for the man, woman, or couple... who would love to minister to young families and children, develop a new ministry from the ground floor, and do so in the beauty of the Northwoods of Wisconsin.
Summary of role: The Youth & Children's Pastor is responsible to provide leadership and direction over all aspects of Family ministry... with a primary emphasis on 6-12th grade... and a secondary emphasis on birth through 5th grade. Should have a desire to see children and teenagers come to know Jesus, and begin living out their relationship with him.
Lead & Direct Youth Ministry
- Schedule and lead a weekly gathering of 6-12th grade students.
- Develop relationships with children, middle-schoolers, high schoolers, and their families.
- Develop and equip a team of volunteers
- Develop a strategy to reach new families, children, and teenagers.
- Instill a heart for worship, discipleship, fellowship, serving, and outreach.
- Become a visible presence in our local schools.
Adminstrate Children's Ministry
- Oversee the Sunday morning children’s “Sunday School”
- Schedule the weekly teachers for Sunday morning
- Be part of the teaching rotation each month
- Review & Prepare curriculum each week
Organizational leadership
- Understand that you are a vital part of this church community, staff, and the volunteers that serve Christ at Eaglebrook.
- Maintain a presence at the church office throughout the week (10 hrs/wk avg)
- Attend weekly staff meetings.
- Attend weekly Sunday services when not on vacation.
- Attend church wide events.
- Attend monthly elders (church leadership) meetings to provide updates
Strategic Initiatives and Events
- Organize children’s / youth camps & retreats
- Instill a heart of serving… whether through local opportunities or short-term missions
- Create, organize, and lead special events and activities (VBS, youth outings)
- Participate in various outreach opportunities (Food for Kidz, etc)
- Be willing to be where students and families are… school activities, athletic events, etc.
Pastoral Care
- Assist with Hospital visitations, funerals, counseling, weddings, as needed.
