About Munholland Methodist Church

Munholland's ministry is to help people connect, grow, serve, and lead in the name of Jesus Christ.  We are a church in transition seeking to bring worship - old and new - into the heart of Old Metairie. We have a strong Grow Group ministry that is drawing in people on the periphery of our congregation.  The importance of missions is seen in the many local and global ministries we come along side to serve and support financially.  We embrace the main mission of the church which is to invite people into life in God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  We are located just outside New Orleans where much of our missions is focused.  Our average worship is around 150.  We have a strong presence in the community with a small park that is used by many young families in the neighborhood.  Our Kids Day Out ministers to 100 children from infants to four year olds.  We have a full staff to fullfil our mission - Family Ministries Director, Music Ministry Leader, Discipleship Director, and Director of Evangelism and Engagement.  We also have three support positions to undergird the ministry.  There is great opportunity in our community to reach people for Jesus Christ.
