High-Level Bookkeeper/Assistant to the Director of Finance

Job Overview: The bookkeeper will work with and report to the Director of Finance. The bookkeeper position is responsible for all accounting functions and reporting weekly and monthly. This individual will also be a direct assistant to the Director of Finance, completing other tasks as assigned.  

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Working with our team to gain knowledge and understanding of our current financial operations and partner base

• Perform all aspects of financial bookkeeping in the accounting cycle
• Supporting the Director of Finance
• Written and verbal communication with partners and interdepartmentally within Call of Love

Qualifications:

• A True Christ follower with a heart for ministry
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Experience with QuickBooks, or another accounting software
• Excellent data entry skills
• Experience with data management 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Preferred candidate will have non-profit experience
• Preferred candidate will have a global view of missions
• A quick learner and team player
• Must work in the office in Cincinnati, OH cannot be remote
• Associate Degree or higher in Accountancy or Business, with consideration of job experience
