GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Exempt, full-time, 40 hours per week and reports to the Nurse Director. The Practice Manager is a member of the client services team and is able execute support efforts for Life Forward’s medical practice.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for all administrative aspects of a medical facility including supplies, special projects, and clinic procedures
- Responsible for auditing clinic operations, establishing a budget, organizing clinical records, scheduling, and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Leads research, planning and launch of new or additional Life Forward services
- Supports the engagement in community awareness of Life Forward’s no-charge services to women, including with other ministries and agencies
- Contributes to efforts to maintain clean and ordered workspace
- Maintain appropriate interpersonal relationships with clients, employees, volunteers and supporters
- Assist with special event planning, ministry initiatives and programs as needed and requested by supervisor
- Participate in routine staff meetings and prayer
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated written and oral communication skills, in particular in-person, via phone, and email
- Must be available and willing to work occasional early mornings, evenings and weekend days
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team
- Ability to work effectively with diverse people groups
- Ability to manage programs and/or project management
- Familiar with Microsoft Office 365 and Apple Products including MAC and IPAD
- High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information
- Ability to travel occasionally to other center or ministry partner locations
- Demonstrated authentic Christian faith and comfortable with small group prayer and Bible study
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working in a medical facility
- Experience working for a non-profit organization and/or Christian ministry
