SEND International is a global missions organization committed to planting churches among unreached people groups worldwide. In this role, you’ll manage SEND’s digital platforms—primarily social media and email marketing—to grow an online community passionate about reaching the unreached. You’ll create content, engage with followers, and support video and graphic projects, working alongside our Marketing Communications team.

CONTRACT POSITION DETAILS:
This is a 4-month, part-time contract role (25 hours/week) at $22- $24 per hour. On-site in US Office, two day a week (Farmington Hills, MI) and hybrid.
Based on performance and organizational needs, there is potential for a permanent in-house role following the contract period.
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Digital Channel Management: Coordinate social media and email marketing, including scheduling, posting, and monitoring community engagement to ensure a cohesive, engaging presence.
- Community Interaction: Engage actively with SEND’s followers and online community to foster a welcoming, valuable, interactive digital space.
- Collaborative Content Planning: Work closely with the Marketing Communications team and cross-departmentally to design and execute a strategic digital communications plan.
- Content Repurposing & Multimedia Production: Adapt content across platforms for maximum reach, assist with basic video editing, and design visually appealing graphics for social media.
- Website Improvements: Help with website audits to enhance user experience and keep content current.
- Community Growth Initiatives: Implement strategies to expand community engagement and grow SEND’s online presence. (i.e. Create ? Test ? Analyze ? Refine ? Repeat)

QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-3 years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in social media platforms, email marketing tools, and other content management systems.
- Strong communication skills with a knack for building community interactions.
- Basic video editing skills (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro).
- Graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) to produce engaging digital content.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments.
- Strong understanding of Christian theology and missions.
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior experience with non-profit organizations.
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS for minor website updates.
