Project Manager

General Responsibilities:

1. Develop project team and systems to support decentralized training, scripture drafting, consulting, and publication online.

2. Lead project team in effective teamwork with the Operations, Finance, Recruiting and Marketing divisions.

3. Provide vision and leadership for team members including: team communications, encouragement, motivation, and spiritual leadership.

4. Develop goals, plans and programs in cooperation with VPs, Directors and staff, and representatives of WA partner organizations.

5. Maintain effective working relationship with partner organizations.

6. Work with high ethical standards and integrity; uphold organizational values

Specific Responsibilities:


1. Coordinate direction, planning and implementation of project team consistent with WA strategic plan and budget.

2. Lead research and implementation of hardware and software solutions to support online Bible translation.

3. Deliver and support technical solutions to decentralized translation teams working globally.

4. Provide professional development opportunities and performance evaluations for direct reports.

5. Work with the CEO and VPs to evaluate progress of the project team in meeting strategic goals.

6. Responsible for assisting in setting and maintaining fiscal budget goals and requirements for the project team.

Qualifications:


1. Personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

2. Demonstrated ability to lead change, produce program growth, and model high productivity.

3. B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent job knowledge.

4. Minimum of five years of professional experience.

5. Team leader with the ability to motivate, encourage and enable others to achieve high recruitment goals.

6. Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form.

7. Experience in recruiting and hiring personnel.

8. Ability to work as part of a global team with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds.

9. Practical working knowledge and learning capacity in relevant information technologies.

10. International travel required.
