Ceramics Instructor – Valor Christian High School

Valor Christian High School is actively seeking a ceramics instructor for a part time position for the 2012-2013 school year. Valor Christian is one of the nation's top Christian high schools, with a strong to commitment to prepare tomorrow's leaders to transform the world for Christ through top level instruction in Academics, Arts and Athletics. The school is located in beautiful Highlands Ranch on the south end of Denver, Colorado. A well qualified applicant will:
•Exhibit mastery of craft and extensive knowledge of ceramic technique and process. Be able to express and convey ideas naturally through the creation of artwork and in instructional dialogue, particularly as they relate to effectively conveying the Christian heart
•Be able to readily and naturally share their faith with teens and build strong, meaningful, relationships with them
•Be an effective, collaborative worker who enjoys a team approach to creative endeavors
•Exhibit the ability to motivate and inspire students to learn, while offering them effective guidance and instruction
•Have a strong desire to reclaim the Arts for Christ through excellence in instruction, mentoring and artistic creation at the high school level
•Exhibit strong Christian faith and character and a heart for service
•Be excited about forging a compelling vision for Christian education and performance in the Arts
