Administrator – Community Christian School

The Board of Directors of Community Christian School (CCS) in Willmar, MN is seeking a full-time administrator beginning the 2012-2013 school year to succeed our current Administrator.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Administrator is responsible for the overall management of all operations and functions of the School, including the planning, implementing, directing, evaluating and maintaining systems and programs that enable CCS to meet its mission and vision.

CCS is a private, non-profit, Christian, non-denominational Pre-K-12 school which has been operating since 1978. It has an enrollment of approximately 225 students, and an annual operating budget of $1.2 million. CCS is accredited by ACSI and consistently excels in academic achievement as evidenced by annual test scores from the Iowa Test of Basic Skills (ITBS).

In 2006 CCS expanded its influence and developed a high school program. This spring CCS will have its third high school graduation. The School is debt free, and recently completed a major building project which added classrooms for the high school, a new library, and office space.

Located approximately 100 miles west of the Twin Cities, Willmar is a regional hub with a population of 18,000. It has a particularly strong medical, technology and agri-business focus.

The Administrator must be a spiritually strong, mature Christian, who demonstrates a life of personal integrity, faith and prayer. Professional qualifications include an experienced school administrator with a master’s degree and administration certificate (or eligible).
